My name is Lia and I'm a HR specialist in KT&G.

We're searching for Business Controller for our Eurasia Controller Department. The main duty of this position is managing of overall business management in an independent, objective position while supporting management's decision-making by reporting directly to BMO HQ.

! Please note: we work from office from 8:00 till 17:00 only. No other options.

Performance Objectives:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts and analysis to support management decisions
  • Monitor and improve P&L (Profit and Loss) management processes within the entity
  • Ensure accurate management accounting and reporting
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks effectively
  • Strengthen the whistleblowing system and conduct management diagnostics as needed

Tasks:

  • Prepare and submit monthly Quick Sales Reports and Reporting Pack

    Identify and communicate issues based on P&L analysis to HQ and the local entity

  • Monitor and report the progress and implementation of P&L improvements in the entity

  • Execute tasks related to P&L improvements as requested by HQ

  • Perform closing work in the SAP CO-PA module

  • Conduct management P&L analysis and manage the dashboard

  • Review major expenditures, contracts, and regulation amendments

  • Implement early detection and preventive measures for potential risks

  • Promote the whistleblowing system and investigate reports

  • Conduct management diagnostics as requested by local management

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of related experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, Budgeting
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards (IFRS) and Tax law (corporate tax law, etc.);
  • Knowledge of management of performance, forecasting, internal assurance, control, business strategy, management of budget;
  • Confident use of PC, knowledge of specialized programs (ERP system (SAP), Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint));
  • Working level of English (upper-intermediate).
