Sourcing Lead

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies across various categories, focusing on long-term value creation and risk mitigation. This includes market research, spend analysis, supplier identification, and negotiation of favorable contracts.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and innovation. Conduct regular performance reviews and develop strategies to improve supplier performance and ensure alignment with our business objectives.
• Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that protect the company's interests. Manage contract compliance and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Market Intelligence and Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in sourcing and procurement. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators related to sourcing activities, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
• Financial Analysis: Provide together with PPM analytics reporting on actual volumes/ prices and variances vs budget.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives and transformational projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels.
• Ability to see and understand end-to-end processes, cross boundary dependencies;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively;
• 5-6 years hands-on experience in procurement required;
• English language – Upper-Intermediate or higher;
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
• Higher education.
