Job Description:
You will cooperate directly with Partners / Associates and Consultants of the Firm, assisting them with various corporate and litigation matters. You will interact with clients and other parties' legal counsel on a daily basis in Russian and in English. You will also be expected to lead and mentor a team of paralegals, effectively delegate tasks and provide feedback.
Due to international focus of the Firm, English and Russian will be your equally important working languages on a daily basis.
Required Skills
- Fluent English, including Legal English;
- Сompleted higher legal education (bachelor's/master's degree);
- 1-3 years of experience as a junior associate in a law firm or in-house legal department;
- Analyzing legislation and case law on various issues;
- Preparation of legal documents in Russian and English;
- Written translation from/into English and proofreading of translations;
- Communicating with clients via e-mail and messengers;
- Interaction with judicial and other state authorities including presentation the clients in court sessions;
- Ability to take initiative;
- Ability to learn and to develop in the field;
- LLM or other post-graduate degree will be an accomplishment; and
- Good knowledge of civil and procedural legislation.
