What will you do:

• Form a deep understanding of market prerequisites for new products (including understanding the world balance, determining available market gaps, forming a pricing model) through various tools.
• Together with the project team, form a holistic understanding of the project, the definition of target capacity, brand range, target segments of monetization, etc.
• Analyze the competitive environment and ecosystems (industry and product).
• Pricing:
• Analyze historical prices, identify influencing factors and patterns;
• Predict prices using different approaches;
• Form a network of contacts:
• Attend specialized conferences, communicate with market experts and potential customers / key market players;
• Conduct interviews with clients;
• Select specialized experts and marketing agencies, jointly conduct market research;
•Identify and define new opportunities for business/segment development.

What we expect from you:

• Experience in product/strategic marketing from 3 years, experience in sales is desirable. Experience in chemistry/petrochemistry/industry will be an advantage.
• Experience in organizing and conducting market research of consumers and the market: identifying potential sources / counterparties for obtaining information and its verification, compiling a technical task or questionnaire, communicating with a counterparty, control over the quality and timely completion of work.
• Experience in independently conducting interviews with market participants (manufacturers, associations, customers, etc.) and identifying demand (including hidden) and unmet needs.
• Knowledge and experience in the application of market analysis tools, identification of promising segments / markets, pricing principles, cost formation.
• Desire to work in project driven environment, ready for multitasking, with the possibility of development in various fields.
• Understanding the basic principles of economic analysis of investment projects aimed at assessing the economic attractiveness of new projects / products (NPV, IRR, EBITDA) will be an advantage.
• University education in chemistry is a MUST. Knowledge of English at upper-intermediate level and above.
• Knowledge of Chinese, either Turkish or Spanish language will be a significant advantage!
