We are looking for a Back-office Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in either middle-size or large commodity trading companies or in a TOP Bank with the role of Back-office/Trading Support Officer.

The Specialist will be responsible for supporting trading activities in terms of control over all commodity trades and all deal attributes are accurately and timely reflected in front office system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Middle office (Product control & Risk management), Legal, IT, Finance, Treasury and Credit department to ensure data integrity in the trading system for accurate reporting.
  • Checking delivery documents, payments/invoices in compliance with agreements and trade confirmations.
  • Control of deal insertion into front office system correctly and in a timely manner on a daily basis.
  • Deals reconciliation, finding gaps, prepare reconciliation reports for particular departments.
  • Daily communication with Middle office in case of deal/delivery/invoice controls.
  • Participation in monthly closing process.
  • Cost type allocation control.
  • Control and check of invoice lifecycle process and participation in automation.
  • Identify mistakes, check and solve issues with Operations/Front office or other departments.
  • Communication with Accounting teams in terms of data reconciliation between front office and other systems.
  • Ad-hoc requests from management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Trade support/Back-office/Settlement in a commodity trading company or bank, with a particular focus on commodity products/precious metals/ Derivatives.
  • Understanding of trading processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Advanced English
