About DMaple
DMaple is a Canadian fintech company building infrastructure for cross-border payments on stablecoins.
The platform helps individuals and businesses send and receive payments in USDT and USDC, run mass payouts, track transaction status and produce transparent reporting. Thanks to its non-custodial architecture, users retain control of their assets while DMaple provides the technology infrastructure for secure and convenient operations.
About the role
You own capital raising end to end — from the investment narrative and materials through to closing the round. The immediate goal is a US$1.2M seed round. You will work directly with the founder and have real influence on company strategy.
What you will do
- Strategy and materials. Investment narrative and positioning, pitch deck, investment memorandum, financial model, unit economics, capital requirements and growth scenarios.
- Pipeline. Source and qualify investors — venture, fintech and blockchain funds, family offices, institutional and strategic investors; build the contact base across Canada, the US and Europe.
- Negotiation and deal. First meetings and presentations, input on valuation and deal structure, term sheet discussions with legal and compliance advisors.
- Due diligence. Prepare the data room and coordinate financial, legal and operational information.
- Market intelligence and reporting. Stablecoin and cross-border payment markets, comparable transactions, Canadian and international regulatory developments; regular updates for current and prospective investors.
Requirements
- 5+ years in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate finance or investor relations.
- A proven track record of raising capital for tech, fintech, payments or SaaS companies, including closed rounds.
- Solid grasp of venture deal structures, valuation principles and core investment instruments; hands-on experience building financial models and investment memoranda.
- Knowledge of the Canadian and/or US investment market, with your own network of contacts.
- English at C1 or above.
Nice to have
- Experience with stablecoin, crypto or blockchain projects; understanding of digital assets and international payment solutions.
- CFA, CIM, CPA, MBA or another relevant qualification.
- Experience working with family offices and high-net-worth private investors.
- Familiarity with FINTRAC requirements, AML/KYC principles and Canadian digital asset regulation.
- A degree in finance, economics or business.
