Fire Fighting & HVAC Engineer

Responsibilities:

Internal TA (Technical Assignment) Schedule Control, Internal Interface (Other discipline) Management:

• Establish engineering schedule through reviewing overall project schedule and major mile stone
• Establish RDI Internal TA Schedule considering In/Out required data and deliverable schedule
• Full knowledge of Design process for OV/AOV Marka and In/Out design information
• Communication and Management for design interface with RDI’s other design disciplines

Reviewing ITB, FEED & Existing Facility’s Design Package (including PD)/ Verification for Existing Facilities:

• Capability of checking the requirement of Owner’s requirement and local regulation, and reflecting the requirement on design criteria, specification and detail engineering document
• Preparing of any deviation and risk item list to manage potential risk
• Finding of potential value engineering (VE) item and reflecting on detail execution plan
• Fully experienced revamping project and understood process of revamping design to manamge
• Finding any conflict, unclear requirement on specification, Existing Facilities' drawings and local regulation and preparing documents for clarification with Owner

Job Instruction

• Preparing Job Instruction including project outline, scope of work, site condition, overall schedule (including internal TA), design plan and special requirement or considerations

• Explanation and discussion of Jon Instruction with assignee of RDI

Conceptual Design:

• Summary design requirement based on specification, scope of work, code & regulation and design information from related disciplines
• Preparing design criteria, project engineering specification, conceptual Schematic Diagram and single line duct/floor heating drawing
• Adopting good design practice and constructability from previous project into conceptual design and value engineering

Detail Design & QA/QC:

• Properly reflecting all requirements from ITB, specification, code and regulation into detail design
• Requesting and managing all design information from other disciplines including internal TA
• Managing schedule of issuing detail engineering documents based on overall project schedule
• Reviewing design drawing and finding any mistake against design information, regulation, code and specification
• Reviewing design result in point of possibility of material supply, fabrication and erection of HVAC system and overall constructability

3D Modeling & QA/QC:

• Establishing modeling scheudle based on Client model review schedule and managing quality control
• Reflecting Client’s comment on 3D mdoel or providing other soution/alternatives
• Checking mismach between 3D model and 2D drawing, modeling mistake or omission
• Checking data structure as per Owner’s 3D data requirement
• Checking interference with piping, cable tray, and equipment etc.

HVAC System Procurement Support Work:

• Preparing and Checking Data sheet as a part of MR package
• Selecting proper vendor through technical clarification and bid evaluation (TBE) in point of vendor’s product capability, quality and reliability
• Participating pre-inspection meeting (PIM), if required
• Clarification of vendor’s query

Project Control:

• Submission of design document in accordance with document control procedure
• Communication and providing technical solution for construction problems
• Monitoring engineering progress and preparing catch-up plan
• Risk management and following up counter measures
• Preparing report or any required document by reviewing and verifying existing facilities' document and drawing for revamping process

Requirements:

• Fluent English.
• Bachelor or Master / Major in Civil engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Over 10 years of HVAC Design (OV Marka) and fully understand AOV Marka of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical plant in Russia
• Expertize in management of Internal TA schedule and interface with other discipline
• Expertize in Russia Regulation and Design Code
• Expertize in revamping project
• Operating ability of 3D Model Review Program (SP3D, E3D, NAVIS etc.)
• Using 3D design Tool such as Magic CAD, Ravit or others
• Using locally certified HVAC Calculation Program (Smoke Exhaust, Ventilation and Floor Heating)
• Knowledge in the use of MS Office/AutoCAD

Conditions:

• Employment Contract Period: 15 months from joining date with possible prolongation
