Finance controller (Cost controller)

Position — Cost controller | Finance controller

Office location: Moscow City, office work

Responsibilities:

• To prepare Management Reports for Whitecliff Group biannually;
• To prepare management reports by projects;
• To prepare other management reports when required, such as Group IT costs forecast;
• To participate in the budgeting process for Whitecliff Group on an annual basis;
• To participate in the approval process as Financial Controller in Treasury System, to compare costs with the project budget;
• To organize and automate a recharge procedure of non-budgeted costs, paid on behalf of clients;
• To reconcile accounts with significant providers on a regular basis;
• To participate in the implementation of the new Whitecliff Treasury System;
• To update cost policies, such as company cards, recharges, expense claims, suppliers invoices workflow, timesheet, and others, and ensure compliance;
• To control the treasury processes and transactions, including payments to agents, salaries, and auditors;
• To participate in other financial one-off ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or similar;
• 5 years or more of experience in Big4 and financial controlling;
• ACCA (or similar) qualified or student;
• Fluent English and Russian;
• Knowledge of accounting system «Xero» and other software programs used in Whitecliff, such as ApprovalMax and Timetta is an asset;
• Strong IT skills (advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge) and passion for automation and efficiency improvement;
• Independent, organized, and with solid management skills;
• Strong communication skills both oral and written;
• Strong motivation and work ethics;
• Readiness to be reallocated and to travel is a plus.
