Scope of Position

To develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for company’s CHC product portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives in order to drive the future sales and profitability of Nizhpharm. The successful candidate for the Portfolio Manager role must possess a unique combination of strong analytical capabilities, in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical (OTC / CHC) or FCMG industry, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and improvement.
  • Work on product portfolio of the company and strategy planning for new products / TA’s / business according to global & local strategy, forecasting, forecasts alignment and update with commercial team
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: project NPV calculations and on-time reviews organization (NPV ownership) at all stages, the core project strategy control
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges in the product portfolio; develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., R&D, CHC Marketing, RA, Finance, and others) to ensure effective communication, coordination, and execution of product management initiatives. Monitoring of accepted global projects gates (at all stages) for timely local strategic plan inclusion.
  • Product and Service Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of the pharmaceutical products from early-stage development, approval and launch, to post-launch monitoring and discontinuation.

Requirements:

  • University degree (degree in Medicine, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related is a plus)
  • At least 2 years of strong OTC pharmaceutical/ FCMG background in Portfolio Management & Analytics / Project / Launch Management, Strategic Marketing, Business Development
  • Proven portfolio development expertise with new projects involving and assessment, new launches cases
  • Expertise with project management, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerBI)
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the OTC pharmaceutical industry/ FMCG idustry
  • Strong abilities in financial analysis, trend identification, and problem-solving, with a proven track record of making data-driven decisions
  • Well-established written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, building consensus, and driving alignment on strategic initiatives
  • English Upper-intermediate or higher for regular communication with headquarters and foreign partners
