We are currently looking for a Senior/Lead Business/System Analyst with a location in Voronezh.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You’ll be responsible for working with stakeholders to identify requirements and needs, capture them, translate to the team, work with UI/UX designers to prepare designs, and control that implemented results match what was designed. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Responsibilities

  • Kick-start exciting conversations with customers to uncover their needs.
  • Discover requirements and fine-tune tasks to perfection.
  • Participate in solution definition. Closely work with system architects to ensure the solution design is optimal and correct.
  • Guide UX Designers with clear tasks, while keeping an eye on the outcome.
  • Pen down crystal-clear technical requirements for our developers.
  • Be the go-to support for the team during implementation.
  • Create captivating demo recordings for customers.
  • Dive into acceptance testing of the new functionalities.
  • Craft detailed, easy-to-understand documentation for the implemented functionality.
  • Be flexible to customer feedback. Process change requests and be proactive in improving the user experience.
  • Turn complex tasks into a set of understandable subtasks and estimate BA effort.
  • Master the art of managing customer expectations, ensuring they're always delighted!

For Lead BA

  • Plan the BA team's work, keep a pulse on progress, and review work to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Lead the BA team like a rockstar: host one-on-one meetings, conduct energizing trainings, and give insightful staff reviews.
  • Put on your detective hat and analyze BA processes - then kick them up a notch!

Requirements

  • A solid 3+ years of experience in BA.
  • Pro-level communicator, with a knack for speaking the language of both the biz/customers and the dev geeks.
  • A whizz at English, we're talking Advanced level.
  • A way with words, the ability to spell out ideas clearly and completely.
  • A wizard at working with requirements - collection, management, refinement, formulation, you name it!
  • Systemic thinking is the key to quality work. Didn’t miss the requirement - saved a lot of hours for the customer.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, decompose high-level information into detail, abstract low-level information to a common understanding, and differentiate user requests from underlying true needs.
  • Battle-hardened in task decomposition and specifications for developers.
  • Not afraid to play around with JSON and XML.
  • Get the basics of relational databases? We need you!
  • Understand the principles of web services? Excellent!
  • Savvy with the principles of system integration.
  • UML notations whisperer.
  • Brave enough to make decisions and take responsibility - we love that!

For Lead BA:

  • A solid 5+ years of experience in BA.
  • 1+ years of experience in managing and leading a BA team.

Will be a plus:

  • Sporting a technical education under your belt
  • SQL basic knowledge? You've got it covered!
  • Dabbled in kick-starting brand-new projects/products from scratch.
  • Have a go at UX/UI system layouts? Sure thing!
  • The pro at giving effort estimates for BA work.
  • Aces at juggling the backlog, assessing task complexity and timing (with development and QA buddies).
  • An all-rounder in supporting software development processes, be it Waterfall, Iterative, Agile or Scrum. You name it, you've got it!
