Data Analyst / Inventory Specialist

A1 SolarStore is an online store based in the USA, Florida. We sell solar panels and other equipment for PV systems across the U.S., and are now entering Canada, Mexico and Europe.

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Inventory Specialist - someone capable to work with multiple data sources, optimize and most importantly automate this work. Two important things to keep in mind:

1. During the first couple of months this position will involve lots of manual repetitive tasks related to data entry. So the faster you dive into the processes and figure out how to automate them, the faster the job level will upgrade.
2. Everything related to the inventory should be live 24/7. It means we cannot suspend our business while developing the best version of our inventory management system. So, the first tasks will mostly aim at the burning issues rather than at building a better world.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, organize and systematize data coming from different sources (some suppliers post their inventory on web portals, some use shared google spreadsheets, some send the info over emails)
• Do low-code or no-code automations
• Automate the processes related to data collection, distribution and posting together with the in-house development team
• Describe the processes, make prototypes and set tasks to the in-house development team
• Do regular follow-ups with the existing suppliers and set up work with the new ones
• Manage manual tasks that cannot be automated at each given point

Key hard skills:

• Microsoft Excel (Google Spreadsheets), macros, queries, scripts
• ChatGPT
• API calls, parsers
• HTTP requests (Postman, etc)
• BigQuery, SQL
• HTML
• Figma
• Low-code and No-code tools
• Python, PHP, JS will be a plus
• Knowledge of different CMS platforms, automation and data governance frameworks
• Proficiency in English (C1). Any European language is a plus

Working hours: flexible hours (8am - 5pm CET and 10am - 6pm EST)
