Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Lay’s Potato Chips (PC) Platform agenda with comparable range of accountabilities and number of initiatives;
  • Establish and develop relationships and cooperation with key internal (local, Global) partners to ensure support & collaboration required to achieve goals;
  • Lead Lay’s PC NPD agenda, manage cross functional teams during project execution, ensure smooth delivery and solving issues timely;
  • Sustain Lay’s competitive advantage agenda by acting as design guardian and provide expertise to technical groups for flawless compliance/execution;
  • Effectively manage Resources and Budget, prepare & track R&D spending. Ensure execution within approved limits and in compliance with PepsiCo polices;
  • Ensure Brand Stewardship for Potato Chips Platform executed to enable business continuity within volatile business environment, demonstrate agile & proactive approach;
  • Manage the team, prioritize tasks based on the committed AOP/ICP plan and budget;
  • Represent R&D interests at key forums with cross functional partners, leveraging expertise inside and outside the organization to deliver product and process development.

Requirements:

  • Higher degree in Foods / Engineering / Science or related discipline with at least 8+ years’ experience product development in a consumer products company;
  • English is a must (upper-intermediate);
  • Solid project management skills with emphasis on planning, anticipation of obstacles and solutions;
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a matrix and evolving agenda with a degree of uncertainty;
  • Striving for high standards, seeking innovative solutions, driving continuous improvement of products, processes or methods and demonstrating a high degree of intellectual curiosity;
  • People management skills.
