About us
We are a small international company hiring for remote employees to work with us as US tax accountants.
Requirements
No US tax experience is necessary, however, the ideal candidate will have excellent English skills and a general background in accounting or finance. The type of person that is normally successful at this role is great with technology, self-motivated, and willing to research the tax code prior to asking for assistance.
About the position
The job consists of reviewing, preparing, and filing tax returns for US, Canadian, and other types of entities. Most of these are small entities, but the work is challenging and constantly changing. We must stay on top of regulations and ensure that the paperwork is correct for each client.
Since the company is fully licensed, we complete only ethical work and engage only with legitimate clients.
Workload
We have one main busy period each year between February and April where we will ask that you work extended hours and a minimum of 6-day workweeks. The rest of the year has a more normal workload. Please kindly apply if interested and we will interview you.
