We are looking for a technical writer who could help us document a brand new programming language. The new language will be used by our colleagues within the FIS group. Our team has been developing the new language for about a year and a half, so the engineers still remember how it works and can explain it to you.

Duties and Responsibilities
You will interact with developers in order to understand the product and write internal and public documentation (mostly aimed at developers):
- Supplement and maintain API reference for the new language (in form of articles in media wiki style similar to cppreference.com, but much simpler)
- Create software architecture overviews of the already implemented platform
- components
- Document functional requirements to the new language and its runtime
- Write how-tos and tutorials for the new language
Additional responsibilities may include creating deployment and configuration guides.
Requirements
- Excellent written skills in English
- Desire and ability to grasp complex technical concepts
- Ability to gain information from the developers and describe it in a well-structured form
- Passion for writing
- Opportunity to work full time
You certainly qualify for the position if you have hands-on experience in writing
easy-to-understand technical documentation in English.
Qualifications that would be a plus
- Previous work experience in IT
- A bachelor's degree in technical or IT-related fields
- An international certificate confirming your English level such as IELTS or TOEFL (even if outdated)
- General understanding of main programming language concepts
