We are a fast-growing international company seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented lawyer to join our team as an Administrative & Personal Assistant to the owner.

This remote position offers the chance to work closely with an experienced entrepreneur, engage with US-based clients, and support the legal and administrative functions of a global business. Whether you’re an experienced lawyer looking to expand into international business or early in your career and eager to build a versatile skill set, this role provides unmatched exposure to both legal and operational aspects of a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and review contracts, agreements, and other documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Draft and edit legal correspondence, policies, and professional reports.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and provide preliminary legal advice when necessary.
  • Manage the owner’s professional and personal calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to legal and administrative tasks during peak seasons and critical deadlines.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Law degree from an accredited institution. (!)
  • Exceptional English communication skills (!) (written and spoken) with a professional command of legal and business terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
  • Availability to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine Time, Monday to Friday, with 4 additional hours over the weekend.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with US clients or businesses.
  • Familiarity with US corporate, contract, or employment law.
  • Previous remote work experience with international teams.
