IT Support Specialist

Aramco Innovations is a Russian representative office of the research center that is the part of Saudi Aramco, the state-owned national oil company of Saudi Arabia.

Aramco Research Center in Moscow supports development in the areas of upstream technologies in simulation and modeling, advanced materials, data analytics and artificial intelligence.

Key functions and responsibilities:

• Configuration and support of current networks based on Cisco, Juniper, Check Point.
• Configuration and support of a Windows Server-based server infrastructure with a variety of services and services.
• Support for CCTV and PACS systems as part of setting up networks and servers.
• Participation in the planning, implementation and further configuration of the new infrastructure (cluster solution with virtualization, fault-tolerant network and server infrastructure).
• It is planned to purchase HPC for the needs of DEV (AI, ML).
• Participation in work to strengthen cybersecurity in the company (NIST), writing documentation and regulations.
• Planning and transition to Russian solutions in the field of systems and services administration.

Requirements:

• Secondary specialized college / Higher technical education in the fields of computer systems and/or computer security.
• More than 2 years of work experience Technical support.
• At least 1 year in the field of cybersecurity/networks/application systems.
• Network administration (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei; CCNA or equivalent knowledge is an advantage).
• System administration (Linux: Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS; Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, FS).
• Cybersecurity basics (firewall configuration, endpoint protection, access control, SIEM, security policies).
• Understanding of virtualization (Proxmox, KVM, VMware, oVirt) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Interest in automation (basic scripting in Bash/Python/PowerShell, Ansible knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, or similar).
• Ability and willingness to learn, grow professionally, and document IT systems/procedures.

Nice to have:

• Experience with mail servers (Zimbra, CommuniGate, MS Exchange).
• Knowledge of Cisco telephony, Hikvision CCTV, ParSec PACS, Kaspersky Security Center.
• Understanding of import substitution strategies in IT.
