Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Senior specialist

To support delivery of sourcing strategy through leadership of all regulatory related issues in high-quality and efficient manner. Additionally, role to cover the issues of securing business continuity in some markets through implementation of mandatory legislative requirements. You will work closely with colleagues from different departments like Marketing, Sales, S&F, PMO, Demand, Supply, Customer Experience and etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food processing of Certification
• 5+ years of experience in regulatory/certification/quality/process engineering or
  production
• English & Russian – Upper intermediate
• In depth knowledge of 5+ years of experience in regulatory/certification/quality/process engineering or production
• Experience in certification (compliance confirmation & veterinary regulation)
• Experience in external engagement
• Deep understanding of food processing principles

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory horizon scanning. Regulatory gaps assessment and action plan proposal.
• Execute structured and quality scanning of new regulatory developments relevant for the business, communicated expected changes and gaps to the stakeholders.
• Lead or support action plan preparation and execution to mitigate potential risks.
• Product recipe review. In partnership with Product development and Factory innovation contribute to the development of compliant recipes before product commercialization.
• Claims review and validation. Provide regulatory perspective and evidence of claims risk assessment and validation.
• Communicate with different R&D and Supply functions.
• Be able to achieve expected results through effective communication with key stakeholders.
• Provide regulatory risk assessment. Be capable to assess regulatory related risk, build efficient level of risk visibility, deliver on gaps closure actions (if applicable).
• Packaging marketing and commercial artwork review. Be able to review and assess claim on front of pack, assess correctness of legal text prepared and approve new artworks.
• Contribute to R&D tools and system roll out. Be able to support regulatory restriction grids set up, be able to set up ingredient declaration rules for new ingredients in the recipe system.
• Drive and support corporate SRA standards and metrics. Lead the stream of corporate standards application into daily job of market SRA to be inline with global KPIs and expectations.
