Position: Java Developer
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Location: Remote, EU time zone preferable
Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a dynamic development team to design, develop, test, and deploy high performance Java applications in the payment technology industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (React, MariaDB) to integrate our solutions with different acquirers and payment systems.
• Perform module and integration testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of our software.
• Provide third-level support to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the production environment.
• Utilize your expertise in Java SE technologies to contribute to the development and enhancement of our payment processing systems.
• Implement basic cryptography and utilize the Java Cryptography Extension for secure data transmission.
• Work with Linux-based operating systems
• Utilize docker/podman for containerization and deployment of applications.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java SE, including Collections, I/O, Exceptions, Garbage Collection, Generics, and Multithreading (Java Memory Model, java concurrent).
• Experience in Servlet API.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol. Know how to implement your own http-client or http-server.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, HTTP, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of cryptography and experience with the Java Cryptography Extension.
• Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL).
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Podman.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Russian and English language - fluent
