Lead Communications Specialist/Communications Manager

Hub Shipping carries out container cargo transportation. We provide reliable cargo transportation service from the most sought-after commercial ports of China, Southeast Asia, India, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

Due to the business growth we are looking for Lead Communications Specialist to join our team.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive communication plans, campaigns and events to support organizational goals and objectives
• Provide strategic communication advice to clients and key stakeholders
• Assist in developing messaging frameworks, stakeholder maps and positioning statements
• Assist in management positioning, delivering thought-leadership initiatives and pitching to media
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to develop communication materials such as press releases, features, press packs, presentations and reports
• Support planned strategic and tactical media activities and managing newsroom requirements
• Create a content plan for the client’s digital footprint, including SEO-optimized marketing copy, website, blogs and social media
• Contribute to identifying opportunities to enhance the visibility, increase share of voice, and build positive brand reputation
• Develop Russia and CIS based media relations and pitch media opportunities based on pre-agreed editorial calendar
• Maintain records of media coverage, collate analytics and report on metrics against target KPIs

Background and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategic corporate communication, public relations, social media or related field
• English level - from upper intermediate (cooperation with HQ);
• Excellent editorial and digital copywriting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and external communication software tools (publishing, monitoring, analytics).
