Release Engineer (DevOps) Junior+

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior+ Release Engineer (DevOps) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our release engineering processes, primarily focusing on cloud environments such as AWS S3 and Hetzner. You will have the opportunity to work with various pipelines including GitLab and Bitbucket, while receiving valuable feedback from experienced release engineers to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Assist in managing release cycles for software projects
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Bitbucket, and AWS tools
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment processes
• Monitor application performance in cloud environments like AWS S3 and Hetzner
• Troubleshoot issues related to releases and provide timely resolutions

Required skills & qualifications:

• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab or Bitbucket
• Good understanding of version control systems: Git
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively independently
• At least 1 year of experience in DevOps or Release Engineering (excluding training courses)
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to learn from senior engineers and adapt quickly to new technologies
