Our client, a leading multinational company, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to take full ownership of its Chemical Production Plant located 350 km from Tashkent. This is a full-time, non-rotation position (5/2 work schedule).
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Lead a team of 50+ professionals, focusing on operational efficiency, reliability, cost control, and continuous improvement.

Ensure adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies, in close cooperation with the country EH&S team.

Maintain strong customer relationships, handling day-to-day operational issues including safety, plant maintenance, and reporting.

Manage interactions with authorities and third parties (inspections, environmental agencies, contractors, suppliers, etc.).

Collaborate closely with regional teams within the Central Europe/Central Asia organization.

Be available for stand-by and on-call duties as needed.
Requirements:

Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory.

Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, or related Technical field).

10+ years of experience in a leadership role managing operating facilities in the chemical, steelmaking, or O&G industries (experience with SMR – steam methane reforming is a plus).

Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams in a matrix organization.

Strong strategic planning, safety-first mindset, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in handling customer relationships and commercial contracts.
