Python Automation Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and deploy automation tools to simplify the team's work.
• Develop a framework to leverage AI and agents for workflow improvement.
• Use LLMs and AI agents to reduce manual tasks and enhance system intelligence.
• Collaborate with traders, engineers, and quants to identify and solve inefficiencies quickly.
• Experiment, troubleshoot, and optimize systems to ensure peak performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI and automation technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Passion for building from scratch, problem-solving, and high personal agency. Hackathon experience is a big plus.
• Tech Skills: Solid Python skills, and ability to build scalable systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Aider, Cursor, Windsurf, and DSPy is a plus.
• Experience with Airflow, Prefect, Mage.ai, or similar pipelining/scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of Rust, SQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, and pub-sub messaging would be an advantage.
• Strong math background, especially for real-world problem-solving considered to be a plus.
