With our high-performance infrastructure and customer-focused service, we are a leader in the industry. We are currently seeking a professional Cloud Infrastructure and Datacenter Operations Engineer to strengthen our data center operations.
As a Cloud Infrastructure and Datacenter Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our data center. This position involves the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of large-scale and complex network infrastructures. We are looking for an expert to manage and develop Juniper hardware, Proxmox clusters, and Ceph storage systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations, ensuring optimal network performance, server configurations, and Ceph storage management.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud VPS infrastructure and Proxmox cluster environments to support our growing services.
• Develop automation solutions for infrastructure management and scaling.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Create disaster recovery plans and ensure their efficient implementation across data centers and cloud environments.
• Configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Juniper hardware.
• Configuration and management of Proxmox clusters.
• Installation, management, and optimization of Ceph storage systems.
• Continuous analysis to monitor and improve network performance.
• Management of firewalls, VPNs, and other network security measures.
• Collaboration with other technical teams to ensure high reliability and availability of datacenter operations.
• Troubleshooting network-related issues and developing new solutions.
• Maintain detailed infrastructure documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and processes.
Qualifications
• Experience in web hosting or cloud industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud VPS management and data center operations.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Juniper hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of Proxmox clusters and Ceph storage systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of network protocols and technologies
• Expertise in networking, virtualization, and high-availability setups.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Teamwork orientation and effective communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a high-paced work environment and work in shifts.
