General Functions:

  • Complete operations related to imports and exports of the organization and ensure their compliance with company’s policies and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with supplier, forwarder and customs broker to ensure that the products get transferred to the destination place properly within the given time frame.
  • Receive and verify shipping documents from the supplier.
  • Prepare set of documents and reports for customs clearance of shipments.
  • Investigate on additional product information and documents needed for customs clearance.
  • Investigate on the specialized and technical needs for transportation and storage of products that are supplied to the organization.
  • Assess customs clearance results against the customs rules, state and international regulations and policies of the organization.
  • Create, assess and regenerate contracts and agreements according to the needs of import and export.
  • Study and examine various methods and procedures of importation and exportation.
  • Uphold familiarity and keep tracking of changes of rules, policies and regulations in customs environment.
  • Execute transactions related to goods movements in SAP R/3.
  • Coordinate shipments transportation with forwarder after customs clearance.
  • Coordinate shipments receipt with warehouse service provider
  • Prepare legal, finance and internal documents related to import and export of the goods.
  • Maintain customs-related data in local product database.
  • Maintain tracking databases to monitor customs broker performance and shipment lead time.
  • Verify bills for customs clearance.

Requirements:

  • Good expertise in SAP R/3 MM and SD modules.
  • Advanced user of MS Excel.
  • English - Upper-intermediate at least.
