Job Summary

  • Evaluate and investigate eligibility for laws and regulations compliance.
  • Develop internal audit plans, identify risks, and document findings.
  • Influence government policies and monitor legislative developments.
  • Implement CSR strategies aligned with company goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Bylaws: Operate, review, and register Bylaws; circulate ethical standards.
  • Legal Issues: Respond to legal issues, report status, and audit procedures.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts; ensure compliance.
  • Compliance Training: Design and implement training programs; evaluate effectiveness.
  • Compliance Inspection: Establish and conduct inspections; monitor laws and regulations.
  • Report Violations: Monitor and report employee violations; impose sanctions.
  • Law Firm Management: Seek advisory firms and manage contracts.
  • Government Relations: Communicate with authorities, obtain licenses, and handle corporate affairs.
  • Unethical Behavior: Manage reporting channels and investigate unethical behavior.
  • Company Law Obligations: Support general meetings and prepare documentation.
  • Internal Audit: Conduct audits, develop plans, and recommend risk measures.
  • Government Relations: Develop strategies, monitor developments, and advocate for interests.
  • CSR: Develop and implement CSR strategies, conduct research, and collaborate with departments.

Qualifications

Accreditation(Certification) / Experience

- Valid certification as a lawyer / jurist / prosecutor in the legal jurisdiction of Kazakhstan or a Master degree or a PhD equivalent relevant to law in Kazakhstan

- 3~5 years of professional experience in a legal department within a corporation (experience at an international corporation preferred)

Language

- English or Korean Advanced (bilingual)

Skills

- Attention to detail with excellent time management, multi-tasking abilities

- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

- Expert in MS. Office, particularly Excel

- Strong organizational and planning skills.

- Self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic.

- Self-motivated & persistent with ability to work with minimal direction to prioritize and execute tasks.

  • This position is full time regular job and is supposed to 8.30 am – 5.30 pm.
