What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in payments, fintech, or banking, ideally within the CIS region.

  • Strong knowledge of the regional payment ecosystem (card acquiring, local payment methods, mobile money, etc.).

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.

  • Fluent in Russian and English (both written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.

  • Startup attitude - proactive, flexible, and ready to roll up your sleeves.

  • Confident communicator and negotiator, comfortable speaking with C-level executives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience launching new products or entering new markets in the region.

  • Familiarity with cross-border payments, compliance, or digital wallets.

  • Strong network in the CIS fintech/payments community.

  • Experience using productivity tools e.g. Slack and Notion.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead Market Growth: Identify and drive new business opportunities in the CIS region across banks, financial institutions, and fintechs.

  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage relationships with banks, PSPs, aggregators, and ecosystem players to expand 8B’s reach.

  • Adapt to Local Markets: Bring an understanding of regional market dynamics, regulatory trends, and payment preferences to localise our approach and product offering.

  • Collaborate Globally: Work across Product, Compliance, Ops, and Tech teams to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.

  • Be the Voice of the Market: Feed market intelligence and customer feedback into product development and growth strategy.
