Head Bartender

The Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg is currently looking for professional candidate for the position of a Head Bartender.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparation of weekly schedules for bartenders, bar back and server staff to adequately cover all shifts. Provides for coverage in case of employee absence and adjusts staffing as necessary to meet business demands.
• Monitors inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
• Resolves customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
• Oversees the preparation of beverages and ensures quality of product served.
• Reports to the Restaurant Manager about any breakage of china and glasses.
• Immediately reporting to the Restaurant Manager about any violation in food presentation/quality/quantity if any.
• Assesses development needs and trains and coach staff.
• Delegates duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources.
• Communicates company policy, standards and procedures to staff.

The right candidate for the position would have:

• Ideally 3 years bartender experience in Food & Beverage, preferably in the luxury market.
• Complete working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance.
• Knowledge of cost control procedures.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Speak fluent English and Russian.
