Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Director of Global Medical Device Sales to establish and lead our global medical device sales function, with a strong focus on the European market. This role is critical to the expansion of a new business line within our compnay. The successful candidate will be responsible for building market presence, developing client relationships, defining sales strategy, and driving revenue growth for Chinese medical device global expansion.
It is relocation to China full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the global sales strategy for Chinese medical device, with primary focus on Europe.
- Establish and expand relationships with medical device manufacturers, startups, and multinational clients.
- Identify new business opportunities, lead generation channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Manage the medical device sales team as the business grows.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to management.
- Lead strategic discussions with key clients and act as the primary commercial escalation point.
- Establish and maintain long-term key account management strategies for global clients.
- Build and lead the sales team as the business scales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track of record in European medical device markets.
- Prior experience in a regional or global sales leadership role is an advantage.
- Experience working with China-based organizations is an advantage.
- Fluent English required (working language), additional European languages (e.g. German) and/or Chinese language are a plus.
