The project is for the civil services industry in Australia, helping to organize volunteering activities, manage various events, and navigate configurable workflows for a predefined set of help exercises. The project consists of a web app, which will require a mobile companion app supporting multiple user roles and flows, and relying on a single backend.
Technical stack: React Native, React, REST API, and AWS services. The team includes a PM/business analyst, a UI/UX designer, a full-stack engineer, and a QA engineer.
This is a full-time remote position that will require 40 hours of your time weekly.
Important: the ability to work in the GMT+5 time zone, as it will require some overlap (1-2 hours) with the working day in Australia.
What you’ll do:
- build new user flows and features for a cross-platform mobile app
⁃ integrate and improve the video call framework and payment framework
⁃ directly contribute and influence mobile and front-to-back architecture, shape the foundation for the scalable data processing and storage
What you’ll need:
⁃ 3+ years of mobile development experience
⁃ extensive experience with the React Native framework and its major libraries
⁃ experience building mobile apps using the Expo framework
It is a plus:
⁃ experience working with the typescript backends and cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Express.js)
⁃ experience with React web programming
