Responsibilities:
- Support preparation and submission of statutory financial and tax reports in compliance with Kazakhstan legislation.
- Ensure adherence to the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Assist with payroll calculations, including payroll for non‑resident employees.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in line with company policies and IFRS/local standards.
- Support the Finance Manager of the Kazakhstan Branch in interactions with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Manage uploading, issuing and controlling invoices in the ESF portal.
- Support posting of obligations and ensure timely and accurate accounting entries.
- Assist with bank‑related tasks such as payment preparation, documentation handling, and cheque control.
- Provide support for vendor and subcontractor processes, including documentation and payment coordination.
- Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting tasks.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and clients in English and local languages.
- Ensure compliance with corporate deadlines and demonstrate strong time‑management skills.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (CIT, VAT, PIT).
- Proficiency in 1C and SAP (FI/CO).
- Experience with EPC projects and consortium accounting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder interaction.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
