PHP Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced PHP Software Engineer Md+/Sr to join a team maintaining and evolving a business-critical payment platform within a global trading company.

The position is opened for a global engineering company providing outstaffing and outsourcing services for fast-growing startups and established international companies. We focus on delivering high-quality engineering talent across Web, Mobile, Cloud, AI/ML, and DevOps with a strong presence in the US and global markets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a PHP-based payment platform
• Refactor and optimise existing codebase
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL), optimise queries and indexing
• Support integration of external payment providers
• Contribute to system reliability and performance in production

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional PHP experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel or Symfony in production
• Strong SQL skills (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience working on medium-to-high complexity systems
• Possess good level of spoken and written English: can communicate technical topics effectively
• Beneficially has knowledge of AWS, microservices, React, TypeScript, Go
