An international production company invites a Product Management & Technical Training Manager (Road-building machinery) in connection with the expansion.
Tasks:
- Technical & Product Trainings: Deliver service and product technical trainings in accordance with Company Global Service Standards; Ensure dealers’ technicians are fully trained on product structure, diagnostics, service, and repair procedures; Develop and update training materials reflecting new models, engineering changes, and field issues; Assess training effectiveness through evaluations and continuously improve training quality.
- Product Support & Dealer / Customer Technical Assistance: Provide advanced technical support to dealers and key customers for complex field issues; Support major projects, mining/oil & gas customers, and pre-sales technical clarification when required; Act as a technical escalation point between dealers and Company engineering teams.
- Product Management Interface & Localization: Collect and structure market feedback from dealers and customers regarding: performance gaps, option requirements, reliability / serviceability issues; Participate in Russia-specific product & option development, including: cold-weather packages, local regulatory / operational requirements, competitive option benchmarking; Coordinate with Product Management on: specification validation, pilot introductions, improvement proposals and technical change requests.
- Competitive Intelligence & Benchmarking: Systematically gather information on competitors’ product designs, specifications, and technologies in Russia; Prepare technical comparison materials for internal use and dealer sales teams; Feed competitive insights into training content and product improvement discussions with Company.
- Training Planning & Reporting: Establish semi-annual training plans based on: installed base / population, dealer capability gaps, new model introductions; Align training plans and report execution status, coverage, and effectiveness.
Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of experience in training, product support, or technical roles within the construction equipment industry.

Experience with international HQ or manufacturing organizations preferred.

Deep understanding of construction equipment engineering and design trends.

Strong capability in technical explanation, diagnostics logic, and product differentiation.

Ability to translate field feedback into structured PM input.

Excellent English communication (written & verbal).

High-level presentation and public speaking skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively across Company, engineering teams, and dealers.

Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Familiar with both on-line and off-line training methodologies.

Self-driven, well-structured, capable of working with minimal supervision.

Willingness to travel frequently across Russia.
