Our trading activities include both vessel and container shipments, serving major Turkish ports such as Ambarlı, Bandırma, İzmir, Tekirdağ, Samsun, and Mersin/İskenderun. Role Description:

The Grains & Feeds Trader will be responsible for procurement and trading activities focused on grains, feeds, oilseeds, and pulses, with a primary emphasis on Russian suppliers. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Rostov, Russia, and requires close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing procurement from Russian suppliers and executing trades across targeted markets
  • Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with suppliers and buyers
  • Conducting market analysis to identify trading opportunities and manage price risk
  • Executing FOB and CIF trades, including negotiation, contracting, and documentation
  • Chartering vessels and coordinating logistics for bulk and container shipments
  • Managing financial flows, payment terms, hedging strategies, and risk exposure
  • Ensuring smooth execution of end‑to‑end trade operations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in agricultural commodity trading (wheat, corn, barley, sunflower meal, rapeseed meal, wheat bran pellets, chickpeas, red/green lentils, yellow peas etc.)
  • Strong understanding of commodity markets, pricing dynamics, and risk management
  • Knowledge of hedging strategies and financial management
  • Established commercial relationships with suppliers in Russia and buyers in Turkey or the region
  • Effective sales and negotiation skills with a focus on long‑term client relationships
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities
  • Proficiency with market analysis tools and trading technologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment
  • Relevant educational background in commodity trading, international trade, shipping, or a related field is required
