Are you passionate about modern FP&A and finance transformation? Do you want to lead complex projects that combine business methodology, financial modelling and advanced planning systems?

We are looking for a Manager/Assistant Manager to join our Digital CFO team in Astana. You will drive end-to-end FP&A transformation initiatives — from designing target processes to implementing EPM solutions — while working directly with senior client stakeholders and shaping the future of financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in business development (participation in tenders, preparation of presentation, proposal etc)
  • Design target FP&A processes and models: budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecast, strategic and investment planning.
  • Lead the development of functional specifications, data models, calculation logic and planning workflows, user stories and test scenarios.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders (CFO, Head of FP&A, Finance Directors);
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions with business and finance teams;
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements, finance methodology and system capabilities;
  • Manage project risks, timelines, scope and resources across multiple engagements;
  • Quality control of all deliverables prepared by engagement team.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in planning / economic departments in large companies or 5+ years in consulting or integrator companies;
  • Experience in elaboration of functional design of financial planning and analysis systems (budgeting, business planning, strategic planning, investment planning, tariff setting), in methodologies and business processes design;
  • Project management the financial planning system automatization using advanced IT solutions (Anaplan, SAP BPC, IBM Cognos, Oracle Hyperion Planning, 1C ERP, etc.) or being an active participant of a related project;
  • Strong understanding of key trends of financial planning and analysis area (agile planning, integrated planning, rolling planning, etc.) and its logic, experience in procedures design will be an advantage;
  • Experience in building and work with financial models in MS Excel and/other IT tools;
  • English language: upper-intermediate and above;
  • Professional certification in CIMA, CMA, ACCA and / or certificates confirming the ability to set up a financial planning system on advanced IT solutions (Anaplan SAP BPC, IBM Cognos, Oracle Hyperion Planning, 1C ERP, etc.) will be an advantage;
  • Being an initiative team-player focused on result will be an advantage;
  • Willingness to develop in a large international company and implement projects in the region of Central Asia and the Caucasus.
