We are an international startup managing logistics for businesses across Europe.

We act as a bridge between companies and 3PL fulfillment warehouses — handling storage, delivery, and returns. We help our clients scale and enter new markets without the need to build their own logistics infrastructure.

We are looking for an Accountant who will take ownership of financial and tax accounting, with a focus on operations within the EU and cross-border activities between Estonia and the UK.

This role requires a high level of independence and involvement in building financial processes from scratch.

What we offer:

  • Opportunity to build the financial function from scratch for an international 3PL business

  • Fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracy and quick decision-making

  • Participation in scaling the business (new countries, jurisdictions, volumes)

  • Hands-on experience with VAT and cross-border operations (not just local accounting)

  • Remote work (EU timezone)

  • Flexible schedule (part-time with potential to grow to full-time)

  • Compensation and workload review as the company scales

  • Payments fixed in a stable currency

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial and tax accounting

  • Issue invoices, manage billing, and work with suppliers

  • Calculate, process, and control payroll and taxes

  • Prepare and submit tax reports and statutory declarations

  • Communicate with government authorities and regulatory bodies

  • Calculate and manage key taxes, with a strong focus on VAT (critical area)

  • Ensure accurate accounting across the EU and between Estonia ↔ UK jurisdictions

  • Support management accounting (Google Sheets / basic analytics)

  • Work with financial/accounting CRM systems

  • Participate in selecting and implementing accounting software

  • Set up and optimize financial processes

  • Work with banks and payment operations

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounting within an international environment (EU / UK)

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Estonian and EU tax legislation

    • VAT

    • basic UK accounting principles

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • payroll and tax calculations

    • preparation and submission of reports

  • Understanding of cross-border accounting between Estonia and the UK

  • Ability to build and manage processes independently

  • English — strong working level (B2–C1) for communication and documentation

Nice to have:

  • Experience in startups

  • Experience in logistics / e-commerce / CPA businesses

  • Experience in building accounting processes from scratch
