JavaScript (NetSuite) developer

We are planning to expand our team in the near future and are looking for a talented JavaScript (NetSuite) developer in our IT team.

Responsibilities:

• Development of new NetSuite custom scripts using SuiteScript 2.1 based on the users' requirements;
• Support of NetSuite current scripts system: NetSuite Script Errors Logs monitoring, problem investigation, fixing according to user requests and BA specifications, and help with updates of problem records;
• Changes implementation to NetSuite scripts according to BA specifications and described requirements, starting from the sandbox and then implementing on production;
• Verification of newly created or changed script results and initial testing, case investigation, and fixing;
• Collaboration with other specialists to design new or enhance existing business logic, including specifications verification and compliance with the current system;
• Offer recommendations for improvement or implementing new processes, automating processes, and enhancing existing functionality;
• May also work on other JavaScript Front-end tasks (related to web portals, eCommerce platforms, and Google Chrome Extensions) requested by the Team Leader and suitable to current programming knowledge and skills level;

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year experience in JavaScript or SuiteScript;
• Experience with Git or other versioning system;
• Good knowledge of XML/XSL, JSON, and web services principles (REST, SOAP, WSDL);
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS;
• Ability to learn quickly, self-teach when required, and effectively seek out resources and information as needed;
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause identification skills;
• Fluency in reading technical documentation in English (B2 Upper-Intermediate);
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP/CRM systems would be a big plus;
