Atlassian Engineer (remote)

We are looking for an expert in the Atlassian ecosystem to administer Jira and Confluence and develop automations. You will configure projects and spaces, manage users and permissions, build integrations (n8n/Zapier), write scripts (JS/Groovy/Python), and help deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administration of the Atlassian stack: creation, configuration, and support of projects and spaces in Jira and Confluence using all available features and tools; user and group management, permission management, etc.;
• Design, implementation, and maintenance of cross-system automations and integrations using low-code tools (n8n/Zapier) and others;
• Creation and maintenance of user-facing and internal documentation;
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver assigned tasks;
• Implementation of best-fit solutions by balancing business requirements with system capabilities.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of administering and using Jira and Confluence, with a solid understanding of service architecture;
• Experience with JS/Groovy/Python for scripting and automation development;
• English (B1): ability to read technical documentation and specialized forums, and to write support requests to English-speaking technical support when needed;
• Willingness to acquire new knowledge by solving complex and challenging tasks;
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel, proactively take ownership of tasks, and support colleagues.
