Head of Research

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the Company's investment research agenda across macroeconomics, FX, rates, fixed income and equities, covering Armenia, the broader CIS region and international markets. Deliver high-quality research ranging from timely market commentary and client communications to flagship investment publications, including quarterly and annual outlooks.
• Serve as the firm's senior investment expert, providing strategic market insights to Relationship Managers, senior management and key clients. Respond to complex client requests, conduct in-depth analyses of sectors and securities, develop bespoke investment recommendations and contribute to portfolio discussions.
• Shape and communicate the Company's investment views across internal and external audiences. Represent the firm at conferences, client events and industry forums, engage with local and international media, publish thought leadership and act as one of the public faces of the Company's investment expertise.
• Partner closely with senior leadership, Product and Relationship Management teams to continuously enhance the Company's investment offering, identify emerging market opportunities and translate client feedback into new investment ideas and solutions.
• Drive excellence in research quality, analytical standards and investment communication while contributing to the ongoing development of the Research function and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in investment research, asset management, private banking, wealth management or other investment-focused financial institutions, with a strong track record of producing high-quality investment research and communicating market views to institutional or private clients.
• Deep expertise across macroeconomics, FX, fixed income and equity markets, with a strong understanding of regional and global investment trends.
• Proven ability to simplify complex market developments into clear, actionable investment recommendations for both sophisticated and non-specialist audiences.
• Experience representing an organization externally through media, conferences, webinars or client events will be considered a strong advantage.
• CFA designation (or progress toward CFA) is a plus.
• Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills in English and Russian.
• Strong commercial mindset, client orientation and the ability to balance multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet and other professional market intelligence platforms.
