Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner for Pharmaceutical Division is responsible for the development and implementation of all business-specific policies, public affairs and stakeholder relations plans
  • Ensures immediate actions on Pharmaceutical Division policies that relate to their legislative or political dimensions, including monitoring and early warning, as well as development of mitigation strategies and its further implementation
  • Leads, develops and implements local policy, public affairs and stakeholder strategies that are aligned with the business strategy
  • Conducts stakeholder analysis and outreach with business related, government, non-government, NGO advocacy groups, trade associations in line with business strategy and agenda
  • Consistent monitoring and analysis of legislative, regulatory and public policy initiatives relevant to the business and product strategies in the country, based on which develop PA strategies and alternative scenarios to best manage the ever-changing environment in Russia and CIS countries
  • Key contributor to the local management team and provide appropriate policy and public affairs expertise to help make business decisions
  • Proactively manage Bayer’s reputation in the external environment; planning and implementation of PA projects related to positioning Bayer as a company committed to Russia and CIS countries, leading and coordination of cross-functional groups
  • Represent Bayer Russia Pharmaceutical Division in global PA team, sharing best practices and driving new initiatives
  • Supporting and driving Com & PA and Sustainability department activities
  • Engagement with governmental and industry stakeholders on cross-functional topics as required;
  • Facilitating participation in relevant high-level political events (meetings, conferences, etc.);
  • Developing internal analytical documents (presentations, talking points, briefing papers, etc) which facilitate decision-making in the Company

Important for us:

  • Proven track-record of successful professional experience within local and international companies working in pharmaceutical industry of 3−5 years
  • Significant experience in Government Relations, Corporate Strategy, External Affairs;
  • Successful track record working with government and public affairs groups developing and\or influencing public policy
  • Possesses significant experience in preventive, mitigating and corrective action as it relates to risk exposure
  • Leadership of teams, including building strong relationships across functions and businesses at all levels
  • Experience in providing advice to executive management on a broad range of business issues
  • Developed organizational, planning and execution skills, multi-tasker,
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member across a broad range of internal/external relations
  • Personal maturity, highly responsible
  • Fluent English
