You will be a part of one of our cohesive team, working on an EdTech project and making schooling accessible, easy, and fun for both students and teachers. We have been partnering with this leading US EdTech Company for about a decade and are very thankful for the collaborative relationship we have built.

As far as experiences and skillset, here is a job description detailing our needs:

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze business use cases and processes to determine best solutions for test automation, including 3rd party APIs;

• Writing, maintaining and executing automated tests for individual team to use as well as to be used by other integrated teams;

• Apply extensive experience on software testing techniques, methodologies, and tools;

• Defines and updated test suites for various purposes, including but not limited to Smoke Testing, BVT and Regression;

• Keeping test automation in the forefront of your mind when designing and executing tests for the purpose of product quality improvement;

• Provide suggestions to improve automation and test processes;

• Create reports and dashboards to show automation progress and results;

• Conduct code reviews, improve and maintain quality of the automation code;

• Actively participate within team SCRUM meetings such as DSU, plannings, and retrospectives (meetings at 5:00/ 6:00 AM EST and 9:30 AM EST).

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a motivated team player. In addition, the candidate needs to be a quick learner who will apply their testing and analytical skills in a fast-paced, Agile development environment;

• Solid communication skills and the ability to interact with software developers, product managers, and business users;

• Have an excellent understanding of how modern web and mobile applications interface and communicate with web services and other back-end systems.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Proven knowledge of Typescript, Cypress, JS, Jenkins, CI/CD, GitHub, LamdaTest;

• Defined and updated test suites for various purposes;

• Front End Testing Experience;

• Back End API Testing Experience;

• Worked in an Agile environment;

• Knowledge of Postman and JIRA would be a plus;

• Experience working in EdTech would be a plus;

• Understanding of AWS and the practical use cases for automating reports and storage in S3;

• Experience with automation coding practices and building/modifying frameworks for integrated solution;

• English C1 (writing and speaking), Russian C2.
