Compliance specialist

Responsibilities

• Participates proactively in relevant compliance and third-party risk management training, networks and other respective educational activities to further professional development in consultation with supervisor
• Applies globally provided policies, training content or other material by considering local specifics
• Supports monitoring, analyzing, assessing and recording of business and corporate transactions, processes, structures, relations as well as external developments with regard to identifying compliance risks related to area of responsibility
• Conducts due diligence steps on third parties before they are engaged, or the engagement is renewed and identifies any associated risks
• Documents identified risks and communicates them proactively to the team for further assessment and mitigation
• Provides training and gives advice on third party risk related topics to local employees on a regular and ad hoc basis
• Ensures regular and ad hoc information flow within the team and with relevant stakeholders for a sound collaboration
• Supports regularly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Supports in monitoring regulatory developments and adapts Compliance Program accordingly, e.g., attending events, associations and doing research
• Contributes to additional tasks in consultation with the supervisor.

Requirements

• University degree / Law degree.
• Minimum of 2 years total professional experience, with main focus on Compliance related matters.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity, confidentiality and trust.
• Excellent command of English and Russian languages is required.
