Purposes of the position

  • Ensure that all the operational activities (about components and manpower) of the service that are in charge to the branch are correctly handled both from a technical and administrative point of view;
  • Manage the branch technicians.

Main activities & Responsibilities:

  • Management of all the machines and systems installed in the area;
  • Be the first referent for any technical request of customers and for urgencies (first level Help Desk);
  • Ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Direct management of all the area field technicians;
  • Handling the intervention of technicians and take care about all the organizational and safety aspects;
  • Management of other plant technicians when working in the branch area;
  • Monitor number and skills of the assigned field engineers;
  • Track all aspects related to the assigned field technicians and update the system with all data regarding the field technicians activities;
  • Recruiting of new technicians in cooperation with the HQ Customer Service and HR.

  • Customer service staff (Branch & HQ)

External relationships:

  • Customers
  • Contractors

Organizational relationships: reports hierarchically to the local GM and functionally to the HQ Customer Service.

Language: fluent English necessary.

Education: bachelor's degree or diploma in technical disciplines.

Professional experience: previous experience in Sipa’s field (beverage/packaging) in technical service assistance/spare parts.

Management and coordination of technicians.

Knowledge: Mechanics, electrics, PLC and industrial machineries. Very good knowledge of computer tools.
