Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

Supply Management:

• Ensure supplies align with the sales department's needs, and track inventories for efficient stock turnover, avoiding surpluses or shortages.
• Conduct regular market research, follow market trends, and monitor prices and availability of offers.
• Evaluate long-term contracts and negotiate the best possible terms with suppliers.
• Perform quality control to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with local and international regulations.
• Develop cooperation with existing suppliers, search for new suppliers, and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.

Administrative Support:

• Sign contracts, verify primary payment documents, and control payments.
• Coordinate with logistics service providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery, meeting all transportation and storage requirements.
• Handle claims and secure compensation from suppliers.

Budget Management:

• Manage the purchasing budget and seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality standards.

Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports on market trends, supplier performance, and overall market conditions.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of experience as a purchasing manager.
2. Experience with sales and purchase agreements, international export-import documentation, and knowledge of Incoterms.
3. Experience in managing supplies for all delivery bases, transits, and multimodal transportation.
4. Experience in handling supply claims and securing compensation.
5. Skill in sourcing a wide range of goods and integrating new items into the company’s assortment.
6. Preferred experience with the following regions: Southeast Asia, Latin America, India, China, Turkey, Scandinavia.
7. Experience in direct communication with the sales department and making independent purchasing decisions.
8. Experience in maintaining long-term contracts and relationships with suppliers.
9. Fluent in Russian and English.
