Our client - the leading company in supplying Vietnam with a wide variety of petrochemical products - on the lookout for an experienced Deputy COO in Vietnam.

Key objectives and responsibilities:

  • Execute strategy, according to an operational plan and provide oversight and guidance to ensure day to day business running
  • Supervise project activities of sales, marketing and O2C teams
  • Interact with clients and suppliers to identify improvement/development areas and optimize supply chain
  • Manage day-to-day logistics activities to meet operational objectives and standards
  • Analyze data relating to transportation costs, storage costs, suppliers’ performance, inventory control and other areas of logistics activity to identify areas for improvement and cost saving
  • Together with COO insure uninterrupted and efficient functioning of the company
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government authorities
  • Insure achievement of set commercial goals in terms of both volume and margin
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality of service, addressing any issues promptly
  • Contribute to the development of the company's overall strategy, with a focus on regional growth and expansion

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years (3-5 in management role) of relevant multifunctional experience in B2B enterprise and an international MBA or equivalent degree in business administration, management, sales, or an equivalent
  • Working experience with polymers/petrochemicals and/or polymer products
  • Portfolio of accomplishments includes successful business development and marketing projects
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for growth and expansion
  • Proficient in internal collaboration across diverse departments and functions
  • Have experience working in a highly matrix environment
  • In-depth familiarity with the Southeast Asia region is a must
  • Fluent English, Russian, Vietnamese (as an advantage)
  • Ready for long-term relocation to Vietnam
