Job Summary:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that helps users understand and effectively use our products and services. This includes writing manuals, user guides, whitepapers, patent inquiries, and other technical documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Creation: Write, edit, and maintain user manuals, installation guides, system documentation, whitepapers, release notes, API documentation, patent inquiries, and other technical content.

Content Development: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure that documentation accurately reflects product functionality and updates.

Information Architecture: Organize and structure content logically and efficiently, ensuring that users can easily find the information they need.

Style and Consistency: Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all documentation, adhering to company and industry standards.

Content Updates: Regularly update and revise documentation based on feedback, product updates, and user needs.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software or technology industry.

Portfolio with examples of technical documentation

Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development, and/or engineering principles.

Ability to write in a clear, concise, and organized manner for a variety of audiences.

Strong research skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to gathering information.

Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
