Currently we are searching for a Lead Editor who would manage our English-language brand media about Qatar, QIC Reads.
Responsibilities
- Create content plans based on business and marketing needs, contribute to sales and other business objectives of the product and brand (awareness, traffic, etc.)
- Conduct research, write, and edit content for our branded media
- Demonstrate a high standard of editorial judgment and headline writing skills
- Analyse content performance data and make adjustments to optimise for lead generation and conversion metrics
- Organise processes for working on blog and media materials, including project coordination, compliance etc.
- Recruit and organise external resources for article writing and collaborate with creative talents
- Stay up to date with global business trends and innovations
Requirements
- Previous media experience, preferably at a branded digital media
- Experience in resource management, content production, and working in a publishing/digital editorial environment
- Strong understanding of editorial processes, from writing texts to editing, proofreading, integrating video, and design materials
- Proficient English (С1) writing and communication skills; knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage
Conditions
- Long-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation period

- Payment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFT
- Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone
- Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 28 days of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
- Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
- Potential opportunity to apply for a Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar
