Job Brief
Consumer technology company seeks a highly motivated and experienced Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance and support on a wide range of corporate legal matters. The right candidate must be prepared to handle anything that works through the door in this in-house generalist role and manage high-priority and complex projects.
Your responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts, including service and agency agreements, license agreements, lease agreements, supply agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.

Elaborate and update robust templates and standard clauses in close collaboration with the relevant teams and redesign contract management flow where needed;

Provide legal support for product development and services delivery, including compliance with the applicable laws (consumer and personal data protection, intellectual property, competition, information laws, etc.)

Draft and keep up to date terms of conditions and policies for a new and existing services and products;

Maintain corporate governance documentation, including constituent documents, resolutions, etc.;

Oversee intellectual property matters and participate in strategy development for IP protection;

Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters with consumers and entities;

Draft responses to state authorities’ requests on all relevant matters;

Revise marketing and advertising materials;

Participate in the development or deployment of internal processes;

Collaborate with other divisions, including HR and Finance, to address legal issues and provide legal guidance;

Stay updated on legal developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends that may impact the company’s operations.
Your Qualifications

Law degree in Russia;

2-4 years of post-qualified experience. The ideal background includes a combination of law firm practice (focused on commercial, IP/IT) and in-house experience with an online platform;

Highly motivated, creative, entrepreneurial, and laser-focused on the details;

Fluent written and spoken English;

Proactive, hard-working and solutions-oriented;

Excellent business judgment.
