We are looking for Business development manager. You can move to Phuket or work remotely.

Context:

We are building a b2b digital platform which will connect agents and developers across the globe to help them sell more. As part of this larger project we launched a new digital real estate agency in Phuket, Thailand. Agency is not only a standalone business generating cash, but also serves as a testing ground for our ideas, hypotheses and digital products.

Currently we view business development and as crucial for leads generation and unlike competition we want to build it systematically. We are looking for a leader to guide us through this process, someone who can develop the strategy, create playbooks and sales plans, and execute them.

The BizDev manager is a senior commercial role with significant responsibility for sales performance and a high level of autonomy. This person will report directly to one of the founders.

  • Marketing professionals, affiliate marketers, traffic generators etc

What will you do: (is not carved in stone and could be adjusted by the biz dev lead based on strategy)

  • Work closely with commercial director to develop a comprehensive business development strategy
  • Leverage yours and ours existing business network to acquire first partners and close first deals
  • Map out all potential partner segments, monetization schemes and unit economics
  • Identify top-3 segments and define our ambition for each
  • Collaborate with marketing to
  • Develop playbooks for acquiring partners and engaging with end customers
  • Generate partner leads
  • Ultimately, generate leads through these partners
  • Build and develop a team, if needed
  • Build systems and integrations in order to nurture and close deals and automate mass payments for partners
  • Work closely with sales team to develop a seamless system to convert leads generated through partners network
  • Create a scalable playbook to replicate success in other markets, i.e. Bali, Bangkok, Vietnam, Dubai and beyond
  • Conduct regular bizdev reviews with management and agency as a whole

  • Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
