Head of Medical Affairs (relocation to Cyprus)

The Head of Medical Affairs is responsible for strategic leadership, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that medical strategies are fully aligned

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead medical strategies including medical communications, engagement with opinion leaders, investigator-led research, data dissemination, and external collaborations
• Lead the development of medical activities including publication planning, medical advisory boards, educational programs, participation in congresses, company presentations, conferences, and responding to requests for medical information
• Establish professional relationships with the medical community and exchange scientific knowledge with global and regional key opinion leaders
• Establish and execute a strategic publication and congress plan; work with internal colleagues to develop key messages on unmet need, mechanism of action, target product profile, and among others
• Partner with clinical development to facilitate enrollment of company sponsored clinical trials
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues (e.g. marketing, sales, patient advocacy, clinical, regulatory, legal and market access) to develop and execute strategic plans to execute provider engagement that drive disease awareness
• Diseases literature review and market analysis

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Medicine or life science, with postgraduate qualifications (PhD, PharmD, MD/DO)
• 5+ years in Medical Affairs
• Strong leadership in international medical and clinical projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of health authority requirements related to GxP.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly interpret scientific / clinical research and literature essential
• Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of global healthcare commercialization defining market issues & developing strategy for Medical Affairs
