IT Performance Manager (relocation is required)
Job description: The IT Performance Manager holds a governance-oriented role responsible for developing and implementing IT performance metrics and overseeing other IT governance functions. This position focuses on ensuring the optimal functioning and efficiency of technology systems within the organization. Key responsibilities include establishing performance frameworks, defining metrics, monitoring performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize IT performance. This role plays a crucial part in aligning IT strategies with business objectives and facilitating informed decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Establish metrics-based Tech Health frameworks and methodologies to assess the performance and maturity of technology capabilities across the enterprise.
- Define metrics to measure the software delivery performance, including cycle time, lead time, deployment frequency, and change failure rate.
- Ensure definition of uptime targets and service level agreements (SLAs) for critical systems, in alignment with business requirements and objectives.
- Ensure establishment of mechanisms to track the software delivery performance and availability of key IT solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to conduct maturity assessments, identify improvement opportunities, and develop action plans.
- Monitor and analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize IT performance.
- Draft IT performance management and other IT governance policies and guidelines in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management, IT leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with IT strategies and business objectives.
- Develop and present IT health and performance reports and recommendations to executive leadership and board members to support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT engineering/DevOps, IT governance, IT architecture or related roles within the Fintech or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including agile and hybrid approaches.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD practices and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of different layers of technology architecture and IT processes.
